I was recently asked by Will Parkes of Darton, Longman and Todd Ltd if I would read and review a new self-help book called Stop Existing, Start Living by Christine Woolfenden.
I said to myself “oh no, not another self-help book promising to change your life for the better!” I said “yes, of course”, but was expecting the same promises from this book as others I had previously read, only to have felt let down by the content. I’d like to just clarify here that I read these books out of interest only. As a hypnotherapist, life coach and NLP practitioner I am able to deal with issues that arise in my own life!
“WOW”! What a pleasant surprise. Christine has effortlessly demystified hypnotherapy and made it accessible to everyone. I very soon felt as though I knew Christine and more importantly, trusted her. This book is very easy to read and gives the reader clear guidance through the change process.
Each chapter is explained in detail with examples and guidance to help you to understand your mind and how the change process works; there are questions for you to answer and progress reports for you to complete, all of which are thought provoking and will aid you in making positive change in your life. You also get access to 10 MP3 downloads of hypnotherapy, which relate to the different chapters of this book and help you on your self–help journey.
If you are in need of some direction in your life, give Stop Existing, Start Living a go!
